What Sets Us Apart
In the Fall of 2025, Ocean Surge Softball began as a community-driven program with a simple mission: to give young athletes a place to learn, compete, and build confidence through the game. What started with a strong focus on fundamentals—developing core skills, fostering teamwork, and creating a positive learning environment—quickly evolved into a structured and competitive organization.
Under the leadership of Program Director Taylor Corallo, Ocean Surge Softball has quickly grown into a leader in New Jersey travel and showcase fastpitch softball, helping young athletes develop their skills, endurance, resilience, and confidence. More importantly, our specialized coaching strategies guide players in building essential life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and discipline—values that extend far beyond the field.
With teams ranging from 10U through 16U/18U Showcase, Ocean Surge provides a complete developmental pathway for athletes at every stage. Our younger teams (10U–12U) focus on fundamentals and confidence-building, while our middle levels introduce advanced gameplay and strategy. At the highest level, our 16U/18U Showcase teams compete in elite tournaments, offering players valuable exposure and opportunities for college recruitment.
At Surge, we believe success comes from more than wins on the field. Our program is built on hard work, resilience, and family values, creating an environment where players are challenged to grow, support one another, and strive for excellence in everything they do. We prepare our athletes not only for the biggest moments in the game, but for success at the next level—and in life beyond softball.
